At Galaxy Builders, Inc., we're committed to delivering reliable roofing and remodeling services with honesty, integrity, clear expectations, and exceptional customer care.  Mike Sundberg began Galaxy Builders, Inc. in September 2003 to provide honest, quality construction services to Jacksonville, Florida residents.  Having worked in the construction industry since he was 13 years old, Mike understood the need for good, honest contractors.  Over the years, Mike has purposefully assembled a group of tradesmen who can complete a residential construction project to each client's satisfaction.

From Apprentice to Expert

Mike's passion for construction began early, working alongside family on electrical projects in new and remodeled homes.  He quickly learned the value of doing a job right the first time, embracing the philosophy of "measure twice, cut once".  His dedication led him to excel in high school construction trades classes, where he honed his skills in framing, masonry, and cabinetry under the guidance of experienced mentors.

At 18, Mike joined a roofing crew, quickly rising through the ranks.  He further expanded his expertise with certifications in vinyl siding and roofing installation, and gained valuable experience in home additions, framing, and window replacements.

Driven by his commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Mike achieved a significant milestone in 2003 by passing Florida's State Certified General Contractor exam.  He further solidified his expertise with certifications in roofing (2006) and solar contracting (2008).

Today, Galaxy Builders, Inc. stands as a testament to Mike's hard work, dedication, and passion for serving the residents of Jacksonville, Florida and its surrounding Northeast Florida communities.
